This paper addresses the problem of building what might be called a "Latin American subject" as a process of convergence of practices and discourses (religious, scientific, legal, etc.) intended to operate as instruments of control over the subordinate groups. analyze the way from " discovery" of America, otherness (particular) is reduced to identity the internal political logos Modern (Private-universalized). We will refer to the main story "Animal Mirror" by Jorge Luis Borges, interpreting from negative dialectic of Frankfurt critical theorist Theodor Adorno, and poststructuralist philosophy Francois Lyotard.
